Content giant Jio Studios made an interesting announcement this morning, on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi today. The prolific studio is venturing into Kannada cinema with the upcoming movie ‘Kotee’. Jio Studios also revealed the first look posters for Kotee on its official social media handles.
Kotee stars Kannada star Dhananjaya in the lead role of a man who lands with 1 crore rupees in his kitty. But money can be a two-edged sword, as the poster of Kotee indicates. Dhananjaya graces the poster, albeit his face is hidden behind a weird mask. 500 Rupees notes can be seen prominently on the mask.

As per reports in the media, Kotee will have debutant actress Mokha Kushal as the female lead opposite Dhananjaya. The movie is helmed by debutant director Parameshwar Gundkal. Kantara fame cinematographer Pratheek Shetty will crank the camera for Kotee, while 777 Charlie composer Nobin Paul is handling the music of the film.
