Just a few days back India saw unseen huge traffic on live cricket streaming. The number reached as high as 5.9 crores which is indeed huge. Rarely did we see any complaints about Hotstar’s services even after free streaming. But, things are not that pleasant at JioCinema. It is no World Cup, it is merely a simple match that is in no way near the World Cup.
Is there any buzz for that? Doesn’t seem to be. After all, cricket lovers are taking a break after the unfortunate loss. But, a lot of them will anyway turn on their screens.
So there is a sudden but incomplete migration of cricket lovers from Hotstar to JioCinema. Still, there are tonnes of reports that JioCinema crashed soon after the start of the match. It was instructed to update the app when there is no available update on the store. For others, it simply refused to stream the match.
Well, it is no news for JioCinema as there have been several instances when JioCinema failed to deliver the promise. However, they also took a long break from live sports so it is pretty normal for them. They might fix it in the upcoming matches but it should not have happened in the first place.
Well, let’s see what the frustrated fans are saying.
