In a spectacular campaign, the growing OTT giant JioCinema has decided to stream 20 new movies over a 20 days span. The JioCinema Film Fest will start on the 29th of September and each day, a new movie will be premiered.
JioCinema has released a teaser for the Festival where we can see talents like Supriya Pathak, Amit Sadh, Adah Sharma, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Ayush Mehra, Jatin Sharma, Sahil Mehta etc in various award winning films. Not all the details of the films have been revealed yet but from the teaser we can see some glimpses of them.
There is one wonderful child-artist in a movie named ‘Munna Ka Bachpan’. There are flms like ‘Laar’, ‘Phone Call’, ‘Before We Die’, ‘The Daughter’ starring the maestro Naseeruddin Shah. ‘Murakh’, ‘Machis’, ‘Rat In The Kitchen’, ‘Kofuku’, ‘Mehmood’, ‘Armaand’, ‘The Last Envelope’ are other stories. Kofuku stars Adah Sharma and seems to be a romantic drama. ‘Dammy’ has Nawazuddin Siddiqui in yet another intense role. ‘Ring Mili Kya’ and ‘Coming Out With The Help Of A Time Machine’ are two more films releasing during the festival. ‘Gangster Ganga’ stars Supriya Pathak. ‘Armaand’ has Rajat Kapoor in the lead role. ‘The Last Envelope’ is a heartwarming tale of parents and their child starring Annu Kapoor and Sheeba Chaddha. ‘Birha’ is a winner at multiple international film festivals. ‘Bebaak’ tells the story of a Muslim woman in India and her problems. ‘Ghuspaith’ is inspired from the real life story of Indian journalist Danish Siddiqui. ‘The Comedian’ tells the story of a depressed and aged comedian who has nothing to laugh for in his old age. These are some of the titles that will be premiering in the Film Fest.
The festival will start on the 29th of September and go on till 18th of October. Enjoy this festive season with these acclaimed films from such talented directors and actors.
