JioCinema is showing us some numbers. And my god, what unbelievable numbers are those?
India’s final match even in the World Cup fails to match the wonders that JioCinema is projecting.
Can you imagine the highest 5.9 crores in the World Cup Finale and 14+ crores in the ongoing Match?
Well, the universe is a place of endless opportunities but this is just too good to be true.
There were reports of 8 crore+ live viewers and then of 14 crores+. For some users, JioCinema is simply not working, while for many, the view count is very inconsistent. The app simply refuses to show the number of viewers watching the match.
As you can see in the image above, JioCinema is not even showing the number of people watching the match.
But let’s consider the once in a 1000 probability of this number being true. What could be the reasons?
Firstly, it is the T-20. It is not a long investment of time like the one-day international. Secondly, JioCinema might have communicated the “free” streaming part properly unlike Disney+Hotstar.
Even many people are questioning JioCinema if the numbers are true. Given all the conditions and hype around the match, it is very very unlikely that these numbers can be true.
