House of The Dragon is definitely a fiery show, and yesterday, the OTT industry felt the wrath of the viewers. It was reported that the episode length of the show was cut short on JioCinema, different from what fans would see on Max. Consequently, fans began to show their rage.
From pirating the show to practically threatening JioCinema with canceling their subscriptions, they had a lot of ammunition.
Just to paint a picture, the episode lengths are as follows:

As soon as the tweet about the shorter episode length was out, JioCinema kept giving the excuse of a ‘technical aspect’ causing the shorter episode length. They even clarified that their version is exactly what they got from the production house, uncut and unfiltered.
No interruptions, no alterations. Watch the explosive first episode of House of the Dragon S2 now streaming exclusively on JioCinema Premium.

Then why is there still a shorter episode length?
JioCinema claims it is because of the FPS (frames per second) used in rendering the show. Originally, Max calculated the length of the show with a shorter FPS, 23.98 to be precise. On the other hand, JioCinema used a standard 25 FPS calculation, resulting in the shorter episode length.
Lastly, we aren’t really agreeing or disagreeing with the justification of JioCinema, but if what they are saying is true, the reason can be accepted as valid. Some users who watched the show on both platforms, Max and JioCinema, narrated that there isn’t any visible difference between both versions.
So as of now, you can go on with JioCinema. Whatever they are saying about House Of The Dragon Season 2 being uncut and unfiltered might be the truth. But, be a bit skeptical sometimes.
I don't think there are cuts. Every other show or movie in jiocinema has a lesser running time than the original one because they play the content at 1.05x(approx) speed. That's why sometimes there's a subtitle sync issue as well. It's a known fact.
