It is a big day for India. On a meager budget of ₹615 crores, Chandrayaan 3 landed softly on the unexplored part of the moon.
While all the credit go to the scientists and team who invested days and night for the success, the enthusiasm of common people is also noteworthy.
People were excited to the extent that the landing of Chandrayaan 3 is the most watched live streaming on any platform ever. Earlier the record was held by a match between Brazil and Croatia which was being watched by 6+ million accounts at the same time.
The record stands broken and about 8 million accounts watched the live streaming.
But JioCinema had to show ads and too many of them. Yes, we all know that JioCinema is free and the sole reason the platform earns is the ads that come while streaming.
But sometimes, they just overdo it. They just post ads and too many of them. It really hampers the streaming experience of people as they don’t expect things to be more commercial than informative.
Things become even more obvious when the whole event is already streaming free on YouTube. Also, Hotstar was streaming the whole thing quite flawlessly.
What do you think about the same?
