JioCinema has announced the release date for their upcoming romantic thriller ‘I Love You’. It will be streaming for free from the 16th of June. The trailer for the film will be released on 8th.
The teaser of the film was released a few days back. ‘I Love You’ is among the huge number of shows and movies that are announced by the platform recently. JioCinema is having quite a successful run with these and hopefully, ‘I Love You’ too will find its suitable audience. ‘I Love You’ looks like some sort of a romantic thriller and it stars Rakul Preet Singh, Pavail Gulati and Akash Oberoi. It is written and directed by Nikhil Mahajan and has some beautiful music in it. Adnan Sami’s voice in the teaser is ethereal, music is definitely going to be one of the positive points of the movie.
The teaser starts with Pavail Gulati giving a vague monologue on love in the typical Bollywood style. And there is a surprise in the end. Pavail plays a hopeless romantic or a one-sided lover who tries to pursue Rakul for quite a time in vain. He says in the monologue, that even if you cannot be with her, you can at least love her from afar. But the romantic note that the teaser starts with soon changes to a creepier one. Rakul, in the end, is found locked inside a highrise building and moments later she is seen unconscious with her mouth taped and ‘I Love You’ written on the tape.
