JioVoot is finally on the way. The OTT platform has been long due and it was promised to be launched before the IPL streaming. But several delays due to unknown reasons have pushed the merger. But, the platform is expected to launch sometime soon in May.
Regardless, you must be aware that a few weeks ago, Jio Studios announced a massive line-up of 100 titles being developed by them. Needless to say, most of them will be streaming on Jio Cinema itself. But as of now, the streaming platform does not have much to offer.
We realize that there are 1000s of films available on Jio Cinema but it has been like this for a long time. There isn’t anything new or spicy that is needed for a new OTT platform.
But a promising film like Bloody Daddy is also streaming soon.
So what to do in that situation? An annual package of ₹599 won’t be a nice option.
So JioVoot will offer you a daily subscription of ₹2 per day. It is a fantastic option to watch a movie or series in a day.
With a content library like that of JioVoot, this is possibly the best option they can offer. However, Jio Cinema will be also working on expanding its slate with Paramount+ and Showtime originals.
