After a spate of delays, the fourth installment of the action packed ‘John Wick’ film series titled ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ will finally be released in theatres including India on 24th March. The eagerly anticipated sequel will see ‘Matrix’ star Keanu Reeves reprise his titular role of the highly efficient hitman – John Wick.
Before its theatrical release, ‘John Wick 4’ was showcased to a select group of critics and film enthusiasts in an early screening. Has the action franchise reached its saturation point after three films or it’s quite the opposite? Here’s what some of these early viewers have said about the film.
In case you are apprehensive about John Wick 4’s epic runtime of almost three hours, you should not worry about it. Because some of the early viewers have opined that the extra runtime has turned out to be a favorable point for ‘John Wick 4’.

Another critic has called the latest ‘John Wick’ film a bloody good time and an incredible addition to the franchise with lots of surprises.

Another film expert had all good things to say about ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ and has described the film as really awesome with insane and inventive set pieces.

In most of the early reactions for ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’, the film’s early viewers have expressed their common admiration for the role and performance of one actor. It’s Donnie Yen, who has essayed the role of a blind assassin. The veteran actor is well known for starring in the lead role in the martial arts movie ‘Ip Man’.

So, as you can see from the above early feedback, it looks like ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ has ‘blockbuster’ stamped all over it. Audience verdict will be out on 24th March. Like the first three films, the fourth instalment of the John Wick franchise has also been directed by stunt coordinator turned director Chad Stahelski. Besides Keanu Reeves, the sequel features Laurence Fishburne, Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgard, Clancy Brown, Ian McShane, and Lance Reddick.
