Joker 2 is slapped with an R Rating, like the first one.
It is said to have “some strong violence, language throughout, some sexuality, and brief full nudity” – everything you can expect from a Joker film.
But it will not be a major problem for the film, as during the first installment, it already crossed this hurdle and became the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time. Though Oppenheimer created a threat, they definitely came short.
And talking about its box office run, $1.08B is definitely a great number to achieve, and the second one will definitely have a better chance to dethrone the first installment of the franchise.
The studio has been successful in terms of keeping major secrecy, especially with the plot and the characters. Even someone like Lady Gaga, who has the limelight all over her, her part was also kept under wraps. But the wait is almost over.
