The man already conquered death once; the question lies, can he do it again? It was previously confirmed that the world of Game Of Thrones is practically ready to flood the OTT space with more sequels, even George RR Martin nodded at that idea.
Throughout the series, the fan-favorite character has been neglected. But, the scene is about to change.
Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and Dan Weiss share thoughts on HBO’s Jon Snow sequel and discuss the possibility of returning to the franchise.
During a November interview about their upcoming Netflix project, they delved into Thrones-related topics, including addressing season eight backlash and reflecting on potential changes to the series.
As they were asked about the chances to return to their past home, Weiss said, “It would be so great; nothing would make us happier than to work with our people from that show.
“But there are a lot of other ways to make that happen that are fresh and exciting for everyone involved. Also, unless [Kit Harington] has been doing a lot of working out, that’s a really heavy cloak for a guy in his 40s to carry around — it’s like 60 pounds.”
The makers are making it really clear that they miss the show, and they do miss the crew. But, the possibility of returning is a faint one, and even if they create a show on Jon Snow to give justice to the messy ending, it won’t be through David Benioff and Dan Weiss.
