Team RRR has started promoting the film aggressively. Rajamouli, Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and Alia Bhatt have covered 3 cities, namely Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru in the last 24 hours as they are promoting the arrival of the film’s trailer. As RRR gears up for release on 7th January, the promotional tours in the next 3-4 weeks are expected to get bigger and better. Coming to the topic, Jr NTR made a very interesting comment while interacting with Tamil and Malayalam media at a specially organized event in Chennai yesterday.
“Thanks to Baahubali, the regional cinema barrier is eroding. Vijay Sir’s Master did wonders in the Telugu states. Dhanush sir’s films are getting a wide release in AP and Telangana. It is good that the audience are encouraging other language actors as well. It will lead to healthy competition. Who knows. If Rajamouli conceptualizes his dream project Mahabharatha, we all might come together.” Jr NTR said.
Rajamouli went on to say RRR has more emotional depth than Baahubali. “The characters in RRR are more clearly written than in Baahuali. So, RRR will have more emotional depth. This film essentially revolves around the fictional journey of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju. About my next film, it will be with Mahesh Babu. But I won’t start working on this project till I am done with RRR and receive a positive response from the audience,” he said.
Ram Charan said “Tamil is more like a second language to me. I was born here. I enjoyed dubbing my lines in the Tamil version. It felt nice. Working on RRR has been a pleasurable experience for me, and also the entire cast and crew.”
RRR is gearing up for worldwide theatrical release on the 14th of January 2022. The film marks the coming together of Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan, and SS Rajamouli.
