Netflix has a more than capable social media team that is absolutely phenomenal at its job. Unfortunately, those who decide content suck at their job, and the best department at Netflix has to read trolls on their behalf.
Indian Matchmaking Season 2 has been announced and it will stream from August 11. The upcoming series by Netflix i.e Masaba Masaba Season 2 also falls into the same woke category.
Regardless, we are talking about what happened today at Netflix India. They announced Indian Matchmaking with some beautiful stills and the audience’s reaction was interesting.
First of all, it is a cold response as not many people bothered to participate in the announcement post.
Secondly, the reaction is cold too. No one wanted that show to return and it is pretty obvious. Netflix India didn’t need to announce a new season to know that people despised the show, it is one of the most infamous shows.
Netflix is the most expensive OTT platform in India, but the originals they make are nowhere comparable to what other platforms are offering. At least they are trying to bring something new instead of renewing their cringe-worthy shows.
People are complaining that it is an injustice to their subscription fee that they are getting such shows. But only if they understood and abided by the audience’s reaction.
This lack of listening skills has made Netflix so pathetic in India. They hardly listen to what subscribers say on their shows as they keep making whimsical decisions.
Is it because of lack quality content? I am never been so stoked to see this..

OHH MY GOD! Sima Taparia from Mumbai will haunt us again 🙄
Now Netflix will say compromise karna padhta hai 😆— Geetika🏏 (@Geetikatuli) July 12, 2022
When other OTT platforms are coming up with outstanding web series and movies, Netflix is still stuck with these series. Dear Netflix please don’t stoop to our Indian TV channel level with the saas-bahu dramas. https://t.co/Aj6gg6NTe1
