Heist-based thrillers are often cited as fan favorites. However, when those heists involve mind-bending magic tricks, they tend to lure more audiences. Along the same lines, ‘Now You See Me’ can be described as one of the most prominent duologies of the genre.
Fans were left overjoyed recently when Lionsgate officially announced the third installment in the series. The films revolve around The Horsemen, a group of illusionists who often find themselves tangled amid crime and the police as they strive to pull off high-stakes robberies.
‘Now You See Me 3’ has been in the works for quite some time now. While no release date or plot details have been revealed yet, it is certain that original cast members Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, and Mark Ruffalo will be returning to reprise their roles.
But that’s not all! More members have now been added to the cast for the new film. ‘Barbie’ actress Ariana Greenblatt, ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ famed Justice Smith, and ‘The Holdovers’ star Dominic Sessa are officially onboard the directorial project under Ruben Fleischer!
While their character details are being kept under wraps for now, it will be an educated guess to assume they will be playing an upcoming generation of magician-turned-heisters! With a promising star-studded ensemble cast, we sure hope that this installment of the widely appreciated franchise lives upto its legacy!
