Disney Plus has just revealed the release date for its upcoming new Korean drama, titled ‘A Shop For Killers’. The series premieres on Disney Plus worldwide, and on Disney Plus Hotstar in India, on 17th January, 2024. ‘A Shop For Killers’ is also known as ‘The Killer’s Shopping Mall’ in Korea.
The 8-part series ‘A Shop For Killers’ is an adaptation of the popular Korean novel of the same name, written by Jiyoung Kang. The series follows college student Jeong Ji-an, whose uncle Jeong Jin-man runs a mysterious shop. Due to her uncle’s suspicious shop, Jeong Ji-an must soon fight for survival as she becomes the target of the deadliest assassins around.
Jeong Ji-an is played by popular Korean actress, Kim Hye-jun, who gained fame with her Netflix series, Kingdom. Jeong Jin-man is played by actor Lee Dong-wook, who’s earlier appeared in shows such as ‘Tale of the Nine Tailed’, and ‘Touch Your Heart’.
‘A Shop For Killers’ is directed by Lee Kwon. The stellar cast also includes actors such as Seo Hyun Woo, Jo Han Sun, Park Ji Bin, Keum Hae Na, and Kim Min, among others. The series promises to be an action-packed story, brimming with suspense, intrigue and humour.
