Good news for K-drama fans. The Korean drama ‘Frankly Speaking’ is going to premiere on Netflix on the 1st of May. It will probably not be available in any other language than Korean or English. The show is written by Choi Kyung-sun and directed by Jang Ji-yeon.
‘Frankly Speaking’ tells the story of a man named Song Ki-baek who is in his thirties and is working as a radio announcer. He is affected by a disorder that causes him to speak without thinking, and it carries on new difficulties to his professional life. On Woo-ju, who is a writer for a show, gets to know about Song’s case and finds it interesting. She writes about it and decides to go to a love variety show with him.
If you are a fan of Korean movies and shows, you might already know about Frankly Speaking. Apart from it, another show is coming to Netflix in the month of May. It is ‘The 8 Show’ that tells the story of a difficult reality show that offers huge prize money.
The cast includes actors like Go Kyung-pyo, Kang Han-na, Joo Jong-hyuk. Frankly Speaking is a JTBC original and it is distributed in the international market by Netflix. The episodes will be releasing on the platform every Wednesday and Thursday.
