Hit South Korean fantasy drama Television series ‘Ghost Doctor‘ starring Rain and Kim Bum as leads to stream on Netflix India soon. The tvN original premiered on January 3rd, 2022 and aired it’s finale on February 22. The show was available on Netflix Korea since then, but it was not available for Netflix India audience. Here’s a good news for Indian K-drama fans! ‘Ghost Doctor’ will stream on Netflix India from 23rd June.
This 16 episode series follows two doctors who belongs to extreme backgrounds, possess diametrically opposite personalities and medical skills. One of them, Cha Young-min played by Rain, who is a genius doctor and a high-skilled cardiac surgeon. But he has a very arrogant and selfish personality. The other, Go Seung-tak played by Kim Bum, who although possesses excellent theoretical knowledge, is bad at practical work because of his fear of blood. Things turn complicated when Young Min gets involved in an unexpected case and his spirit possesses Seung-tak’s body.
This extremely entertaining and super funny fantasy comedy show was directed by Boo Seong-cheol and written by Kim Sun-soo. One good takeaway from the show is how it finely intertwined fantasy and life-lessons. Also you wouldn’t want to miss Kim Bum and Rain playing off as one of the best K-drama duos recent times with panache.
