Filmmaker Prabhu Solomon has come up with a new film that has intrigued audiences. The film has been titled ‘Mambo’ and it will be the story of a lion cub. The movie is being marketed as the first Asian film to be shot with a real lion.
The first look of the movie has been revealed. It features a young boy holding up the lion cub in his arms and kissing it.
Prabhu Solomon is a director who has always impressed his audiences with gis unique concepts. He is appreciated for his films like ‘King’, ‘Laadan’, ‘Kumki’ and ‘Sembi’. His ‘Myna’ is a film that won multiple awards. ‘Kaadan’ was shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and gained much critical acclaim. ‘Kaadan’ or ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ had environmental concerns deep in its core and most probably ‘Mambo’ will have a similar theme too. The film has cast Vijayakumar’s grandson and Vanitha Vijayakumar’s son, Vijay Sri Harri. Yogi Babu will be playing an important role in the movie.
The music of the film is composed by D Imman. The cinematography will be handled by Samuel Sanjay and the editing is to be done by LVK Dass. The movie is being produced under the banner of Roja Combines, a production house that has not produced any movie for eighteen years.
