Bollywood star Salman Khan is all set to commence the filming schedule of his upcoming family entertainer, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, with Farhad Samji at the helm. The film’s team has already started building big set pieces to shoot some important scenes in Panvel. On the other hand, the actor-director duo is looking to finalise the movie’s cast and other departments these days. Recent reports have disclosed that the Dhinka Chika song fame, Devi Sri Prasad, has been roped in by Salman Khan as the film’s music composer.
“Salman and DSP share a great bond, having delivered a chartbuster like Dhinka Chika in 2011. The duo is now all set to get back on Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and the ace music composer has already started to create some original tunes for the album. Much like the trend in today’s time, multiple composers will be working on the music of KEKD, with DSP leading it from the front,” a source unearthed.
Salman Khan is looking to deliver a perfect blend of love, drama, action, and comedy with KEKD. And we know that our beloved Bhaijaan is well-known for dropping his movies on the occasion of Eid. However, KEKD is slated to release on December 30th this year.
Apart from Salman Khan, the cast of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali treasures Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, Aayush Sharma, and Zaheer Iqbal so far. The inclusion of Venkatesh and Hegde indicates that the makers want to bestow a cross-cultural saga of love to the viewers. On the other hand, Sharma and Iqbal will be seen playing Khan’s younger brothers in the film. The production team is also searching for a worthy actor for the portrayal of his third sibling.
