Kajal Aggarwal recently made her Digital Debut with Disney + Hotstar’s Live Telecast, a horror web series. However, it has ended up as a massive disappointment with the audience and critics giving thumbs down for it. In an interview, Kajal revealed what went wrong with Live Telecast.
“Digital can be extremely tricky. I signed it in 2018, shot it in 2019. It was supposed to release in 2020 during the Lockdown but it got delayed. The timing first of all is not good. When everyone opened up in 2021 and there is a flurry of releases. It got lost in the floods,” Kajal said.
“Secondly, I felt the technicalities could have been stronger. When I heard the story, I thought it is an interesting role to take up. I don’t know what happened. There is a lapse of technicalities. It could have been better. I did that because I wanted to do digital, I wanted to do something new and I enjoyed it. But it did not go the way I would have liked. I happy with my choices though,” the actress said.
Not deterred by the failure, the actress will star in more OTT projects, she said. “Few OTT projects are in talks. I did not sign them yet but I will do that very soon,” she said.
