Kajal Aggarwal’s next is a slice of life hindi film titled ‘Uma’ where she will play the titular role. ‘Uma’ will be directed by Tathagata Singha with filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh serving as creative producer.
Reportedly, ‘Uma’ will be set in an aristocratic household with a wedding backdrop where the entire family assembles, the drama unfolds through the multi-faceted characters with the arrival of a stranger Uma.
Avishek Ghosh and Mantraraj Paliwal of Miraj Group will jointly produce ‘Uma’ that will begin filming later this year. While Kajal Aggarwal will play the lead, the rest of the cast will soon be announced by the makers.
