It’s a happy news for all Indian movie-buffs! One of the most awaited actor-director combinations of the year, Actor-director Revathi – Kajol is finally coming to fruition. The hindi language drama film ‘Salaam Venky’ directed by National Award winning Actress Revathi hits the theatres on 9th December. Makers dropped the film’s first look alongside trailer release date revelation today.

The actress can be seen all smiles in a ravishing red saree holding Vishal (wheelchair ridden). Vishal is also gleaming with happiness and is seen holding groceries. From the looks of it, Salaam Venky is a Mother’s tale. A mother’s bravado in full glory.
According to rough synopsis floating around, Salaam Venky is Sujata (Kajol)and Venky’s (Vishal Jethwa) story. Sujata, an ideal mother, who battled the most challenging situations one can ever face with a smile.
Veteran actress Revathi, who directed the national award-winning film Mitr: My Friend, returns back to direction after years.The film is produced by Suraj Singh and Shraddha Agrawal through Blive Productions and RTake Studios. Kajol was last seen in Netflix’s Tribhanga. The trailer of Salaam Venky drops on November 14th. Stay tuned.
