Kamal Haasan’s Vikram To Be Screened At Busan International FF

Vikram turned out to be a career-reviving project for Kamal Haasan. The fourth Lokesh Kanagraj directional treasured all the elements of a mass entertainer and brought out the best from Ulaga Nayagan. Plus, it emerged as the highest grosser of Tamil Cinema in 2022 and shattered numerous box office records.

Now, Vikram is all set for a screening at this year’s Busan International Film Festival. The 10-day festival will commence on October 5 and conclude on October 14. It will be screened on October 7 and 8 at different venues. The film belongs to the Open Cinema category of the festival.

The film was released worldwide on June 3 this year. Made on a humungous 150-crore budget, it collected more than 400 crores at the box office. It served as the spiritual successor of the 1986 film of the same name, helmed by Rajasekhar.

Apart from Haasan’s mesmerising presence, we watched talents like Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi playing Agent Amar and Sandhanam respectively. And what about the explosive cameo appearance from Suriya as Rolex?

Only K.G.F Chapter 2 and RRR have performed better than Kamal Haasan’s Vikram in terms of collections this year. You can stream the film on Disney+ Hotstar. Stay tuned for more updates.
