Kangana Ranaut who had made her own space in Hindi cinema is set to direct another movie. She had previously directed a movie called “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi” along with Krish Jagarlamudi in 2019 where she played the main role of Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi. In an interview with ANI, she revealed “I will soon be coming up with my solo directorial project that will also be produced by me and I will also star in the project too.” She hasn’t announced any other details of the movie.
The star also owns a production house “Manikarnika Films” which was launched last year and produced “Tiku Weds Sheru” starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in lead roles. The film has yet not reached theaters. The streaming rights of the movie went to Amazon prime. She is also bankrolling for the upcoming films include ‘Emergency’ and ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda’.
Kangana Ranaut is the host of Alt Balaji’s “Lock Upp”. It is an unscripted show where contestants are put together in jail and given many tasks to complete, she has also couple of upcoming movies waiting to hit theaters like “Dhaakad”, “Tejas”, and “The Incarnation: Sita”.
Kangana has always made headlines with her rightist controversial statements. She has to face lots of hate as a result of that. Her return to directorial role will be a turning point in her career at this time. Her fans are eagerly waiting for other details of the movie to drop.
