Aishwarya Rajesh starrer horror thriller film ‘Boomika’ is going for a unique release format which includes streaming on Netflix on 23rd August i.e. a day after its television premiere on 22nd August on Vijay Television. Bankrolled by Karthik Subbaraj via his Stone Bench Films, ‘Boomika’ is described as ‘An Eco Horror’ Tamil film.
‘Boomika’ follows Gayathri and Gowtham, who want to convert a dilapidated school into a resort. But strange things and scary incidents start occurring when they try to do so. Will they be able to survive these horrific circumstances?
The second trailer of ‘Boomika’ is all about how people have been destroying Earth with their irresponsible actions. While mother Earth can recuperate form it with time, will humans be able to save themselves from the consequences that will follow those activities?
The dark and grisly look of the trailer is just a peek into the spine-chilling thriller ‘Boomika’. The film is set in picturesque locales that has been used to show how beautiful nature is but when treated ignorantly can turn into one’s worst nightmare.
Written and directed by Rathindran R. Prasad, ‘Boomika’ stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Vidhu, Pavel Navageethan, Madhuri, Surya Ganapathi, Ayaan Abhishek and Avantika Vandanapu.
Kaartheekeyan Santhanam, Sudha Sundaram and Jayaraman have produced ’Boomika’ with Kal Raman, S. Somasegar and Kalyan Subramaniyam serving as co-producers for the film. The production companies behind the film are Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films and Passion Studios.
