SonyLIV had announced a massive slate of 50+ Indian Original titles for its platform back in June. The new list consisted of a sizeable number of Tamil titles, a few of which have already premiered on SonyLIV. Now, this evening, SonyLIV has announced the release date of a new Tamil web series, titled ‘Kaiyum Kalavum’. The slice-of-life series will premiere on SonyLIV on November 4.
‘Kaiyum Kalavum’ comes from the stables of prolific Tamil filmmaker, Karthik Subbaraj, and his production company, StoneBench Films. The series is directed by Roju. ‘Kaiyum Kalavum’ stars Sanchana Natrajan, Jeeva Subramanian, Vikas, Madonna Sebastian, Avinash Raghudevan, Senthil, Karu Palaniyappan, Ramya Nambeesan, Chaams, Vivek Prasanna, Vijay Adhiraj, among others.
The official synopsis of ‘Kaiyum Kalavum’ reads, “A series of serendipitous events bring together a compulsive thief and an unlucky pickpocket inching closer to being in love with every act of theft they commit”.
Going by the description of the series, ‘Kaiyum Kalavum’ promises to be a delightful watch. The trailer of the series will be out tomorrow on SonyLIV’s social media handles. The first look poster of the series was also launched this evening by SonyLIV and Karthik Subbaraj.
