Popular Hollywood actress Keira Knightley will next be seen in an adaptation of a bestselling novel. The novel, ‘The Woman in Cabin 10’ by Ruth Ware is a novel that got popular among millennials and became a huge hit at the time of its publishing in 2016. The rights for the movie have been acquired by Netflix and it will be a direct to OTT release.
The movie will be directed by Simon Stone who is known for his direction style in movies like ‘The Dig’ and ‘The Daughter’. It will be good for fans to see him directing the Oscar nominated actress in the movie. ‘The Woman in Cabin 10’ will be produced by the production house ‘Sister’.
The book is a haunting mystery that tells the story of a travel writer and journalist named Lo. Lo is invited to come to a luxury cruise with a very small number of cabins and she is overjoyed to review and document the journey. But one night she experiences something on board that shocks her and her journey is never the same. Nobody in the ship believes or acknowledges her words, and she has to go on an investigation all alone.
Hopefully the Netflix adaptation of the book will be as famous and appreciated as the novel was. Release dates and other details have not been revealed yet. Other cast additions will be announced later on.
