This year feels like a treat to Anime fanbase, as many much awaited Animes are coming back with its epic tale.
As the prime series works on its season two of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”, Kaniyama is coming with his feature film.
Starting from the “Thousand Years Blood War Arc” to now the prequel of J.R.R. Tolkien’s “Fellowship Of The Rings” in an animated format.
Because Warner Bros ,has just released the trailer for the anime feature film “The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim,” which is set to be released on December 13th 2024.
With more middle earth action this anime movie will serve as the beginning of Tolkien’s “LOTR” series.
Directed by Kenji Kamiyama, who is best known for directing the series “Blade Runner: Black Lotus” and “Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex,” and featuring Helm Hammerhand as the protagonist “The War of the Rohirrim” takes place 261 years before the events of “The Fellowship of the Ring.”
In the feature film the great king Rohan, must defend his land against an army of Dunlendings, which will unveil an origin story revealing how the stronghold Helm’s Deep got its name.
Brian Cox will be the voice of King Rohan as Miranda Otto will return to her iconic voice of Eowyn.
With the epic story by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews, and the script by Phoebe Gittins and Arty Papageorgiou, this movie will be a visual treat for LOTR fans and as well as anime fans.
Some other cast members include Gaia Wise, Luke Pasqualino, Laurence Ubong Williams and Shaune Dooley.
This could be a much help to those who are just introducing themselves with LOTR series, as they will get a much dense story to delve into and a much deeper understanding of the series.
