The upcoming Netflix movie “Leave the World Behind” just updated their cast list. According to the Deadline it has been confirmed that Farrah Mackkenzie and Kevin Bacon have joined the cast of Sam Esmail’s directorial movie. It is unknown what character they will portray in the movie. This movie is based on a novel of the same name by Rumaan Alam.
The cast of the movie already includes Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali, Ethan Hawke and Myha’la Herrold. With the arrival of Kevin Bacon and Farrah Mackenzie the movie will feature a stellar cast with loads of potential.
Kevin Bacon is currently working on “City on a Hill” show and is also an Golden Globe winner whereas Farrah Mackenzie is not that much established, but she has featured in the Amazon’s “Utopia”.
As this is an adaptation of a book we can expect the plot from the book which is a survival thriller where two families face a threatening situation on a vacation which they have to overcome by protecting the lives of other family members. It is expected that Sam Esmail who is famous for the anthology show “Mr. Robot” will deliver another masterpiece for Netflix this time.
The other details of the movie “Leave the World Behind” haven’t been announced yet. But the movie is expected to drop on Netflix in the near future.
