Good news for anyone who was wondering if they will ever get a reboot of Marvel’s resident Daywalker. After the project was taken off of the release slate from Marvel, fans were losing hope of the character’s comeback from the production hell; however, the main man at Marvel, Kevin Feige, in a recent interaction, has confirmed that the studio remains committed to the project.
The move was first announced in 2019, but the writer’s strike and the back and forth between the actor and the studio caused delays over and over. The movie had a November 2026 release date, and arguably so, the studio could not possibly make it in time; thus, it made sense that it was shelved for the time being.
The character, however, will be seen in the animated What If… ? Season 3, which will be voiced by Mahershala Ali. It is interesting that as of now only the voice of Blade has been featured in the MCU at the end of Eternals.
The other big news is for Scarlet Witch stans. After the alleged death of Elizabeth Olsen’s character in Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, her return was being speculated. With the chacater teased consistently throughout Agatha All Along and Olsen herself making comments on how she would love to return to the character. Feige has now confirmed that Wanda is not dead. He also mentioned the inclusion of Miles Morales in the MCU post-the third Spider-verse film.
