Ever since the premiere of its pilot episode in 2015, Marvel’s first ever Netflix series, ‘Daredevil’ instantaneously became a fan-favorite. Starring Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio as the protagonist-antagonist duo at the crux of the series, ‘Daredevil’ is all set to return to our screens as a spinoff miniseries ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ in 2025.
The original series revolves around Matt Murdock, blind from childhood, as he fights criminals both by profession and as superhero Daredevil. However, it did not take fans long to develop strong affinities towards other cast members.
Especially Ayelet Zurer, the Israeli superstar who played Vanessa Fisk. After a whole lot of confusion, it is finally official that Zurer will be reprising her role as mafia boss Kingpin’s wife!
Not only does she bring a nuanced portrayal of the character to the table, she could also potentially mean a lot of traffic for the series as well! She has a loyal fanbase garnered over hits like ‘Munich’, ‘Angels and Demons’, ‘Man of Steel’, and more.
Numerous fans of the series expressed their joy when it was made official that the original cast would be coming back for the spinoff! While rumours and snippets have fans on the edge of their seats, only time can tell if the series will be as well recieved as the original!
