Yash and Prashant Neel‘s KGF 2 is one of the most-awaited films of Indian Cinema. The movie carries huge expectations after the massive success of the first part and after the sensational response for the film’s teaser. KGF 2 was supposed to hit the marquee on July 16th this year but the COVID second wave has ensured a postponement.
Even though the cases across the country are on a decline, the atmosphere is still not conducive for the movie release. It is even more difficult for Pan-India films. So, the makers of KGF 2 are looking for a slot in December. The movie may release on Christmas weekend or New Year weekend.
December is five months away. Blocking the date at this stage does not mean anything because we will never know how the conditions will be by then. But then, if the situation is favorable for the movie release by that time, KGF 2 will have a date on its name. Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see how the makers will make this announcement. Fans are hoping for a new poster or the film’s making video.
Meanwhile, director Prashant Neel had already moved on to his next film, Salaar starring Prabhas.
