The newest Khakee chapter follows police officer Arjun Maitra (Jeet) as he confronts a powerful Kolkata gangster and the corrupt system that protects him. While early reviews have praised Khakee: The Bengal Chapter for being a worthy successor to The Bihar Chapter, it has also received criticism for being predictable and formulaic, with its inability to offer a new and fresh storyline. Even some media platforms and critics have declared the latest offering “underwhelming” compared to its 2022 predecessor.
However, the acting performances, especially those of Jeet, Bhowmik, and Prosenjit Chatterjee, have received immense praise from viewers.
