The trailer for upcoming Bollywood drama ‘Khel Khel Mein’ is here and though the premise is a little different it does not excite much. Helmed by Mudassar Aziz, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ will release in cinemas on 15th August, clashing with ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Vedaa’.
‘Khel Khel Mein’ trailer follows a group of couples coming from diverse backgrounds who have gathered together and decide to play a game. In this game everyone’s mobile phones are kept unlocked for one whole night and any conversation, via texts, emails or calls, will be made in front of everyone. This leads to secrets unfolding that no one was ready for.
More than 3 minute long, the trailer seems boring, dipping at multiple points. It reveals too much and is not gripping enough. Akshay Kumar tries his old spontaneous comedy that does not make you laugh. In fact none of the characters look interesting.
‘Khel Khel Mein’ is the official remake of 2016 Italian comedy thriller film ‘Perfect Strangers’ and is written and directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and Fardeen Khan.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Shashikant Sinha and Ajay Rai, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ is a T-Series, Wakaoo Films and KKM film production and will release in theatres on 15th August, 2024.
