One such movie that did a commendable job on the big screens was “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes”. The name of the film is really large and so is the premise and characters.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is directed by Wes Ball and written by Josh Friedman. As a standalone sequel to the 2017 film “War for the Planet of the Apes”.
It marks the fourth instalment in the reboot series and the tenth film overall in the “Planet of the Apes” franchise.
The story set 300 years after the previous film, follows Noa (Owen Teague), a young chimpanzee hunter and heir to his clan, as he starts on a crucial journey with Mae (Freya Allan), a human. This hunt will determine the future of both apes and humans.
The cast includes Kevin Durand as Proximus Caesar, Peter Macon as Raka, Lydia Peckham as Soona and Travis Jeffery as Anaya, Noa’s best friend.
After completing more than $390 million at the box office, the film is ready for release on Disney+. Yes, the movie will be streaming on Disney+ from the 2nd of August. Most probably it will be released on Disney+Hotstar, the same day.
