The third season of ‘Outer Banks’ is going to stream on Netflix from the 23rd of February. The show is a teen drama or can be very well said to be a mystery thriller and it has a good audience reaction.
The show was created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate and Shannon Burke. It stars actors like Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Austin North, Charles Esten and Drew Starkey. The first season premiered in April 2020 and the second season came in 2021. Both the seasons got a good response from audiences. Various episodes of the previous seasons were directed by Jonas Pate, Chris Nowlan, Valerie Wess, Sunny Hodge and Darnell Martin. Most probably the episodes of the third season too will be directed by these directors.
‘Outer Banks’ tells the story of a town of the same name in North Carolina. The town has strong social division and a very visible class system. The wealthy residents or ‘Kooks’ look down upon the poorer working class and middle class or the ‘Pogues’, as they are nicknamed. One day the father of one such Pogue kid goes missing and the kid’s teen friends decide to investigate the case. In doing so, they find an old treasure map that shows them the way to some buried treasure. They go for an adventure but have to constantly fight the police and the ‘Kooks’ in the way. The third season will continue the story where the last season ended.
The show has pretty good ratings and audiences seem to be satisfied with it. If you have missed watching the first two seasons, go watch them on Netflix and watch ‘Outer Banks’ season 3 on February 23.
