The sequel to the hit time-travel comedy film Indru Netru Naalai was officially announced on Friday, marking the beginning of its much-anticipated journey. Directed by Ravikumar and produced by CV Kumar, who also helmed the first installment; the second part commenced with a formal pooja in Chennai. However, one notable change is the absence of Vishnu Vishal, the lead protagonist from the original film, as the search for a new lead continues.
Released in 2015, Indru Netru Naalai follows the adventures of two friends, Elango and Arumugam, who stumble upon a time machine that complicates their lives in unexpected ways. With its engaging plot, the film captured the attention of audiences, setting the stage for its eagerly awaited sequel. Bharath Mohan is set to direct the sequel, with Ravikumar contributing to the story, promising another exhilarating journey through the realms of time travel.
