Netflix has dropped the trailer for TVF’s Kota Factory season 2 and it’s all about that one big question, why only IIT! The popular black and white themed teen show, ‘Kota Factory’ is back with season 2 on Netflix set to launch on 24th September, 2021.
Vaibhav has now taken admission in Maheshwari Classes, where he wanted to be from the beginning given the reputation of the institute. While he had achieved a short term target, the longer term and real goal of getting into IIT was what he needs to work upon now with all that he has got.
But Vaibhav knows it’s not gonna be that easy. Having spent a year in Kota he has seen a lot of people struggling to cope up with the pressure of clearing the exam and getting into IIT. And the elephant in the room is why IIT, what makes it so special?
The pressure of being late, remaining behind while friends are all moving ahead in life and the toll this rat race of cracking the exam takes on a young adult’s mental health is very powerfully depicted in the trailer itself.
What the trailer also shows is how poor performance and low marks greatly impacts one’s confidence. On the other hand, everyone’s favourite mentor Jeetu Bhaiya makes an appearance towards the end of the trailer answering the most pertinent question of why IIT. According to him one should do IIT because it’s tough and fighting a tough battle builds confidence.
‘Kota Factory’ season 2 is a heartwarming tale of striving and fighting through the odds, keeping up the spirit and standing by friends whenever needed. Giving up might feel easy but the series inspires to look beyond failures and that it’s never too late to try. The show is all about dedication, hard work undying friendship and the ultimate mentor.
As per Netflix, ‘Kota Factory’ is set in Kota, a hub for many coaching centers where students come from all over India to prepare for various entrance exams.
