When Kuberaa was released in theatres in June this year, it was nothing short of a good critical success. The film, starring big names like Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna, made waves across the Telugu and Tamil industries. The movie was not a massive commercial success but the reviews it received was extraordinary.
Directed by Sekhar Kammula, Kuberaa was praised by critics for being one of the best films in recent times. It seemed to have everything needed to impress the audience. Kuberaa, which released on OTT platforms yesterday is not getting the same love it got in theatres. On social media platforms, many viewers have shared their disappointment. While some still praise the film, the majority are calling it just about “watchable.” Several people have complained about the screenplay and the script, saying that it feels stretched and repetitive when watched at home. Others have pointed out that the dialogues are too ordinary and the acting, which looked intense in theatres, feels dull on the small screen.
Some viewers also feel that the plot, which involves a greedy businessman, an ex-CBI officer, and a naive beggar caught in a big political game, was interesting but not extraordinary.

A corrupted society and some Lads behind it, Sekhar kamula writings was Brilliant, but Little bit have trimmed. First half was so intresting and Intance, emotional dept have given to several characters was menacing. #Dhanush was Absolutely Sensational .
