The trailer of Aha Video‘s Telugu sci-fi thriller series “Kudi Yedamaithe” is out. Its enthralling and singularly unique plot is what grabs attention as soon as one sets sight on it. Kudi Yedamaithe is perhaps India’s first production to feature the plot device of “Time Loop”. A female cop (Amala Paul) and a delivery agent and aspiring actor (Rahul Vijay) are caught in an endless time loop, where they awaken to a new day but are compelled to live through the exact same events that they’ve been experiencing in the past few days. Their lives become intertwined with each other’s, as both are part of the other’s time loop.
The two beleaguered people must not only break the terrifying time loop, but also solve a series of kidnappings and criminal activities that take place as they are caught in the unending repetition of events.
Both lead actors impress in the trailer. But more than the performances, it is the storyline that keeps us riveted to the events unfolding in the trailer. Going by the Kudi Yedamaithe trailer, Aha Video has a winner on its hands. That a series based on the complicated time loop concept has come to fruition is a triumph not only for the Telugu content space, but for the Indian entertainment space at large.
Kudi Yedamaithe web series is directed by Kannada filmmaker Pawan Kumar, who has earlier made the thriller films Lucia and U Turn. It stars Amala Paul, Rahul Vijay and Ravi Prakash.
