‘Kalyug’ fame Kunal Kemmu who began his career as a child star has turned director with ‘Madgaon Express’ that has now wrapped filming. Kemmu has also written ‘Madgaon Express’ and will release in theatres soon.
‘Madgaon Express’ has a young talented ensemble cast that includes ‘Mirzapur fame Divyendu Sharma, ‘Scam 1992’ fame Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary and Nora Fatehi in lead roles.
The announcement came with photos of the cast and crew of ‘Madgaon Express’ celebrating the shoot wrap. The film was announced back in august last year and is set to make its way to big screens soon.
Kemmu began his career as a child actor with Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Sir’ and played some iconic characters like Rajnikant in Aamir Khan and Karishma Kapoor’s ‘Raja Hindustani’. Growing up into a handsome young man he once again debuted in films with ‘Kalyug’.
And since then Kunal has given some noteworthy performances in films such as ‘Traffic Signal’, Golmaal’ franchise, ‘Go Goa Gone’, ‘Kalank’, ‘Malang’, ‘Lootcase’ and many more.
Talking about Excel Enttertainment, the Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani led production house has given some huge blockbusters. These include films like ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, ‘Rock On!!’, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, ‘Don’, ‘Fukrey’, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, ‘Gully Boy’ and more. They also produced the Hindi version of Yash starrer blockbuster hit ‘K.G.F’.
They have created a name in the digital world too with web series such as ‘Inside Edge’, ‘Made In Heaven’, ‘Mirzapur’, ‘Fukrey Boyzzz’ and ‘Eternally Confused and Eager For Love’.
