Filmmaker Arunraja Kamaraja is coming with a new web series for Disney+Hotstar. The Tamil show is titled ‘Label’ and it looks like it will be a legal action drama. The release dates of the episodes have not been revealed yet.
‘Label’ will star actors like Jai, Tanya Hope, Mahendran, Charan Raj, Sriman, Ilavarasu, Suresh Chakravarthy and many others. It will be the OTT debut for Arunraja Kamaraja. He is known for films like Nenjukku Needhi.
The teaser is loaded with upbeat music that gives you a chill. And why not so! Sam C.S has composed the music for the show. Dinesh Krishnan has handled the cinematography. Label is produced under the banners of Muthamizh Padaippagam Productions and ARK Entertainment.
About the show, the director has said, “The series is an action drama carrying revolutionary thoughts. The title Label refers to the identity of a person. Everybody will have their own label or identity. The story revolves around the protagonist’s struggle to reach his desired identity, overcoming the identity society has labeled him with.”
Label will be released in Telugu as well. The short animated teaser video that the platform has released gives a glimpse into what the show might be like. There is a dark gloomy red palette, bloodied action, scenes in a jail and court, books, and even somebody playing football. It looks like ‘Label’ will be a complete drama with many diverse elements acting as instruments for the characters to reach out to their individual identity.
