The two episodes of the talk show, that released on Voot earlier today, features the likes of Samantha Akkineni and Varun Tej at their candid best. Though nothing new, unknown may have emerged out of Samantha’s interview, the free-flowing conversation between two successful, empowering women made for a delightful watch.
From living in with Chaitanya before marriage to giving it all to her profession and her intention to create content exclusively for and about women, the talk-show tapped into Samantha’s personal life and career in equal measure. But, the best was reserved for Varun Tej’s episode.
Varun Tej has more or less conducted himself as a shy, simple boy and has reserved his dramatics for his films. The interview tells us that he’s as witty off-screen too, being a protective brother to Niharika, a scared son to his father, as another boy who enjoys his travels for the self-discovery they ensure. His spontaneity takes us by surprise, a facet that Lakshmi Manchu was effective in presenting. We only hope the momentum of the show continues in the further episodes too.
