Ace producers Dinesh Vijan and Bhushan Kumar’s upcoming romantic drama film ‘Shiddat’ is coming to Disney+ Hotstar. Helmed by ‘Jannat’ director Kunal Deshmukh, ‘Shiddat’ will premiere exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar on 1st October, 2021.
Announcing ‘Shiddat’ to be the latest addition in its Mutliplex category, Disney+ Hotstar launched the motion poster for the film. With a beautifully lit city in the background, the poster features Jaggi (Sunny Kaushal) lifting Kartika (Radhika Madan) as one does in a dance pose while they kiss passionately.
‘Shiddat’ will reportedly have two parallel love tracks featuring the journey of two couples. The film stars a talented cast of Sunny Kaushal (‘The Forgotten Army’, ‘Gold’), Radhika Madan (‘Angrezi Medium’, ‘Ray’), Mohti Raina (‘Uri – The Surgical Strike’, ‘Bhaukaal’) and Diana Penty (‘Cocktail’, ‘Happy Bhaag Jaegi’) in the lead.
With a screenplay from Shridhar Raghavan and Dheeraj Kedarnath Rattan, ‘Shiddat’ is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan, Bhushan Kumar and Firuzi Khan. The production companies backing the film are Maddock Films and T-Series.
‘Shiddat’ marks the second collaboration of both Radhika Madan and Diana Penty with Dinesh Vijan. While Radhika was part of his ‘Angrezi Medium’, Diana made her Bollywood debut with his film ‘Cocktail’.
Trailer for ‘Shiddat’ will come out on 13th September, 2021 and it will release on Disney+ Hotstar on 1st October, 2021.
