Sushmita Sen who returned to screens after a decade with crime-thriller web series ‘Aarya’, is now set to lead a biopic from the makers of ‘Forensic’, Deepak Mukut and Mansi Bagla.
Sen is said to play a prominent role in the untitled film that marks yet another collaboration between Bagla’s Mini Films and Mukut’s Sohum Rockstar Entertainment. The film is also Mansi Bagla’s first association with Subi Samuel’s production company Bungalow No. 84.
Apart from Sen’s casting and the production partners, other related matters of the film like director, cast, crew, release format, dates and storyline are still under wraps. Moreover, whose biopic it is going to be is also not revealed as of now.
Mukut’s Sohum Rockstar Entertainment and Bagla’s Mini Films have together produced Vikrant Massey and Radhika Apte starrer ‘Forensic’ that premiered on Zee5 earlier this year. They are also working on ‘Sirf Ek Friday’, a modern day tale of Dronacharya and Eklavya. The film marks the acting debut of Avitesh Shrivastava who will star in the film alongside Mahesh Manjrekar.
Other than the above, the two production houses are also producing ‘Love Story’, the biopic of music composer Aadesh Shrivastava’s whose son Avitesh Shrivastava will essay his father’s role in the film.
Sohum Rockstar Entertainment and Mini Films have also joined hands for ‘Falling in Love Again’, an anthology of love stories by acclaimed Anglo-Indian author Ruskin Bond. Stay tuned to binged.com for further updates!
