Action drama ‘Liger‘ may have flopped at the box office, but it received a lot of love on OTT. The film released on OTT on Disney Plus Hotstar, but only in the South languages of Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Ever since then, Hindi speaking viewers have been beseeching Disney Plus Hotstar for the Liger Hindi OTT release date.
Now, finally, we have confirmed information on the OTT release date for Liger in Hindi. The Hindi version of the Vijay Deverakonda starrer will release on Disney Plus Hotstar on October 21, just in time for the extended Diwali weekend.
The Hindi version of Liger is releasing on Disney Plus Hotstar a full month after the release of its South languages versions. The Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions of Liger released on Disney Plus Hotstar on September 22. The film itself released in theatres on August 25.
Liger is an underdog story of a talented Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) exponent, and his obstacles-ridden journey to ultimate victory. Vijay Deverakonda plays the protagonist, alongside Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy in pivotal roles. American boxer Mike Tyson plays a cameo in the film. Liger is written, directed and produced by Puri Jagannadh. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is co-producer on the film.
