The shot-in-Oklahoma film Fancy Dance, starring Academy Award nominee Lily Gladstone of Killers of the Flower Moon, will be released in select theatres on 21 June 2024 and on Apple TV+ on 28 June 2024. The addition will provide a refreshing shift following Martin Scorsese’s recent film, which catapulted Gladstone’s career to new heights with her compelling depiction of Mollie Kyle.

“Fancy Dance” follows Jax (portrayed by Gladstone), a woman who becomes the caregiver for her niece, Roki (played by Isabel Delroy-Olson), following the sudden disappearance of her sister. As Jax helps Roki prepare for a powwow, she realises that she’s at risk of losing custody of her niece to Roki’s father, Frank (portrayed by Shea Whigham).
With so much on the line, Jax embarks on a determined quest to locate her missing sister before Roki is separated from her loved ones. The clock is ticking as Jax and Roki race against time to reunite with their missing relative, facing the possibility of a life-altering outcome for the young girl.
