Almost ‘Indecent Proposal’ in reverse, this unexpected story is steamy and twisted from the word go. Starring Renee Zellweger as the ultimate game player, this thriller series is one to look out for!
9. MAID (2021)
This IMDb 8.5 rated drama series is inspired by Stephanie Land’s memoir ‘Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive’. The plot follows a single mother, who turns to housecleaning to survive, as she flees an abusive relationship and battles homelessness, in order to create a better life for her daughter.
10. BODYGUARD (2018)
This IMDb 8.1 rated political thriller series follows a London police sergeant assigned to protect the home secretary, portayed as a controversial and ambitious politician. The plot of the six-part series delves into his helplessness, being torn between his beliefs and his duty to protect.
