Kajal Aggarwal is playing the lead character in Disney+Hotstar Exclusive web series titled Live Telecast. The horror series is directed by Tamil Director, Venkat Prabhu. The web series will be premiered on February 12th. This is also the actress’s first release after marriage last year and she is very excited about it.
“It is a very natural progression to venture into different platforms. OTT is a great way to connect with the millennials. It is OTT everywhere, especially after the Lockdown. I have been waiting for a perfect launchpad to make my OTT debut and I feel Live Telecast is the right one,” the actress says.
“I am so excited to work with Venkat sir when this came my way. He is one director who gives tremendous importance to attention to detail,” she added. Live Telecast was supposed to have stiff competition from Amazon Prime Video’s The Family Man Season 2. The web series was also announced for the February 12th release but then, it has been postponed until Summer. So, Live Telecast will have the breathing space to attract the viewers. Live Telecast also features Vaibhav Reddy, Kayal Anandhi, Priyanka, Selva, Daniel Annie Pope, Subbu Panchu Arunachalam among others.
