Mischief and trickery are indeed Loki’s playground, and now, with that, Loki might find his way into theaters. Keeping up with the ongoing phrase ‘From undesirable to Undeniable,’ Loki, with his amazing character development, has always been a god who loves to create chaos.
And with the spirit of Loki, the recent series indeed created chaos in the hearts of viewers as they crave him more than ever. Season two also offered moments that made fans feel butterflies in their tummies, proving that good writing can make anything happen.
Season two of Loki not only boosted the subscriber count for Disney+, as expected, but also showcased future characters, especially building the arch of Kang and the multiverse saga. Loki plays a pivotal role in this, and now there is a possibility that you will be able to experience it on the big screens as well.
During an interview with an entertainment outlet, Loki’s executive producer, Kevin Wright, shared some exciting news with fans regarding its theatrical experience.
“I would love it, and I’ll say this… obviously, the sound mixing is different for streaming versus theatrical,” he later added, “We did do a theatrical mix of the finale, and that was always like a, ‘Who knows?’ It’s something we talked about with Disney, depending on when the strikes ended and getting everybody together. Depending on how people react to this finale, we’ve got a version that could be.”
There is no confirmation about the third season, and there is neither an official statement nor a post-credit scene to keep hopes up, a theatrical experience might be a great gift for the fans.
Even a similar case happened for Ms. Marvel as it got a theatrical release in Pakistan, a country that doesn’t have the services of Disney+ like most parts of the world. It also had three sessions, pairing two episodes at once, giving fans a unique experience. Now, in terms of Loki, it’s unclear whether they are planning to have just the finale or the entire series.
Whatever it is, the experience will be unbeatable.
